Jerry: Excuse me, waiter! Can we get the lobster special and the filet mignon? And maybe a bottle of that fancy red wine?
Waiter: (nodding) Excellent choices, sir. I’ll make sure everything is prepared promptly.
Tom: (under his breath) He’s going to kill us with the bill later.
Jerry: (overhearing) What was that? Don’t be such a pessimist, Tom. Live a little!
Scene 2: The Bill Arrives
The waiter returns with the bill. Tom looks horrified while Jerry seems unfazed.
Waiter: Here’s your bill, gentlemen. Enjoy your meal!
(Tom grabs the bill and starts reading it aloud.)
Tom: (gasping) $200 for two lobsters?! And $150 for a bottle of wine?!
Jerry: (nonchalantly) Yeah, but think about how good it tasted. Worth every penny.
Tom: (frustrated) You said it would be your treat, but this is ridiculous!
Jerry: (smiling) Don’t sweat it. I’ve got this. Besides, what’s a few bucks between friends?
Tom: (sighing) Fine, but next time, we split it evenly.
Jerry: Deal. Now let’s enjoy our dessert before they kick us out.
They both laugh and continue their meal, enjoying each other’s company despite the expense.
