One day, the King announced a grand ball to be held for all the unmarried girls in the kingdom. Cinderella's stepsisters were excited about attending the ball while Cinderella herself was heartbroken because she could not go.

就在灰姑娘伤心的时候，一位仙女教母出现了。她用魔法将灰姑娘的旧衣服变成了一件华丽的礼服，并且变出一辆南瓜马车。但是，仙女教母提醒灰姑娘，午夜十二点时一切魔法将会消失。

Cinderella arrived at the ball and everyone was amazed by her beauty. She danced with the Prince all night long. However, when the clock struck midnight, Cinderella remembered what the Fairy Godmother had said and hurriedly left the palace.

灰姑娘匆忙离开时，不小心留下了一只玻璃鞋。王子拿着这只鞋子走遍了整个王国，寻找穿着它的人。最终，鞋子完美地贴合在了灰姑娘的脚上。

When the prince found Cinderella, he knew she was the one he wanted to marry. They got married happily ever after.

这个故事告诉我们，善良和真诚会带来幸福。无论遇到什么困难，只要保持乐观的心态，就一定能够克服。
