【英语作文:快乐的假期（Happy及Holiday）】Every year, I look forward to the summer holiday. It is not only a time to rest and relax, but also a chance to have fun and make good memories. This year, my vacation was especially happy because I had a great time with my family.

The holiday started in July. My parents took me to visit my grandparents in the countryside. The air was fresh, and the surroundings were very peaceful. We spent our days helping them with their small farm, planting vegetables and taking care of the animals. Although it was hard work, I felt very satisfied and proud of myself.

In the evenings, we would gather around the fire and tell stories. My grandfather shared many interesting experiences from his youth, and I learned a lot from him. These moments made me realize how important family is. We also cooked meals together, and I tried my best to help in the kitchen. Even though I didn’t cook perfectly, everyone laughed and said that my food tasted good.

Besides visiting my grandparents, I also went on a short trip with my friends. We visited a beautiful lake and had a picnic there. We swam, played games, and enjoyed the sunshine. It was a perfect day filled with laughter and joy.

What made this holiday so special was not just the activities I did, but the time I spent with the people I love. I feel grateful for this happy holiday and hope to have more such moments in the future.
